Developed by Krome Studios, Ty The Tasmanian Tiger originally launched on GameCube and other consoles back in 2002. The platformer was certainly a lot of fun to play back in the day and now Krome Studios have said on Twitter that it’s on their list of games they would like to port over to the Nintendo Switch.
Did you ever play Ty The Tasmanian Tiger and would you like to see it revived for Switch?
Yes it's on out list of consoles we want to port to.

Oh I remember this =) I played the gba games when I was little but it’s been years since I’ve heard about this character.
Great game please do it !
}{ The port is already fully released on PC… Another case of “new” content for the switch actually just being last year’s PC titles… }{
No one is forcing you to buy it.
||Then he must be forced to…||
You are really embarrassing yourself at the moment
But last year’s PC title is Gamecube’s 2002 title.
I love your comeback!
If people wanna buy it on console, then so be it. Hell I’ll get it on PC and then double dip. How bout that?
Noone said it was new content…
I hope so!
I used to love this game as a kid and even got to the final boss with my brother, it was really fun but by today’s standards, it is a bit dated. Hopefully, they can do a HD Remaster of the game for Switch :D
Is this game a some sort of fangame inspired from Banjo-Kazooie?
Nope. This game (franchise) has been around since 2002.
But yes. It is a decent platformer where you collect things.
Thank you.
Even though you can play the Gamecube version (unlike most 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and PS3 exclusives), sure why not.
No ports on this one. Bring an all new adventure with updated graphics & much better gameplay than it’s 2002 counterpart.
Who knows, maybe Ty could be a participant in the next Smash?
…..SIIIIIKE! Just kidding!! Lmao!
I say the more the marrier. Also maybe Little King Story, Skys of Arcadia and Tales of Symphonia.
Oooooh, yes please! I had the original Gamecube version (which I never finished because there was that shark boss I could never figure out how to hurt), then got it last year on Steam and did finally beat it.
No… what these guys should do is release the TY trilogy like what just happened with Crash Bandicoot. I’d buy that.
I loved ty the tasmanIan tiger as a child I only played the 1st on on ps and the 2nd on gameboy advance and ps2 I never played the 3rd I’d be happy if it did come to switvh
I use to play the first 2 on ps2 but still got the 2nd on game boy advance but it be even awesome if the remaster came to switch so I can not only play the first 2 again but play ty 3 for the first time
