It Seems You Can Now Authorise Two Factor Authentication On Your Nintendo Account

One thing that Sony and Microsoft have had for quite some time is two factor authentication on PSN and Xbox Live. This allows you to keep your account event more secure by having a unique code texted to you when you sign into your account. It now appears that the option is available on your Nintendo account. Simply go to http://accounts.nintendo.com and log in to your Nintendo account. Then go to “Login and Safety Settings” and you should see it at the very bottom of the page. It seems to use Google Authentication. You can also change your ID if you wish.

I’d rather have an official keychain keycode from Nintendo that gives me a random number to use to access my account. PayPal has something like that & it is fucking awesome.
