Nintendo has decided that to add a brand new section to the Nintendo Switch eShop. Switch users now have an easier way to find what games are on sale. However, discounts for Switch games are still a new thing, with only a few titles currently listed. As the Nintendo Switch’s library of games grows, the quantity of discounts will grow. There are also major sales that Nintendo will be doing for select Switch games for various reasons, such as holidays, in the future. Whenever those happen, we will let you know.

}{ Given how often Nintendo games go on sale, I’m guessing that section is pretty empty… }{
You must not have been on the 3ds eshop anytime in the last two years.
well their 1st party never goes on sale till 2-3 years later and even then it barley happens
I hope they eventually add a virtual console section as well. Having an easier way to find and play certain Gamecube games would be nice, so would an official way of playing Star Fox 2 that doesn’t require the SNES mini.
Please copy Sony in this regard. Now if the deals on the eShop can be stacked with any deals that might be for the same games through My Nintendo, that’d be greeaaat. For instance, I love it when deals on games on the PS4 store are stacked with deals from having PlayStation Plus.
Then again, for 20 bucks a year, I don’t expect such awesomeness from Nintendo. (If I end up being wrong, I won’t complain, though.)
Of course, they need to fix the issue with the coins on My Nintendo expiring. They can learn a thing or two from GameStop in that regard.

This is a welcome addition. There are a few things on Switch eShop that look good to me, but I’m not sure I wanna go all-in one since, if I don’t like them, I’m out that money (Vaccine, Golf Story, etc.)
yes, very good addition indeed. But I miss some musics and more content on eshop, it feels so empty hehe, but I can’t complain, at least it seems they are working on more features.
Please cover EU sales.
Plus they added PayPal support which is cool. But still, WHERE ARE THE VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAMES?!
