Nintendo Thanks Fans By Sharing Huge Miiverse Collage

Nintendo’s popular social platform, Miiverse, is now a thing of the past and closed on 11th October. However, Nintendo has thanked fans for their support and have posted a huge collage made up of posts from the community. You can check it out for yourself by clicking here.

Do you want to see Miiverse return on Switch?

    1. Miiverse is dead and won’t come back. Besides, Switch has Twitter support which is and does the same shit without Nintendo’s dumbass restrictions and it’s nice too because they can’t touch Twitter at all.

  1. How hard is it to remember November 7th? I think this is based on the same mistake as a past article where the short lived community specifically made to celebrate the ending closed. This collage is made up of drawings from it.
So it might be a short time, but Miiverse the site is STILL there as of this posting.

  2. Miiverse was fun when it first started, amazing drawings and creative posts, then the kids wanted to play Boyfriend and Girlfriend and started to slowly kill Miiverse. If they do release Miiverse on Switch, then they should revise the Miiverse Code of Conduct and add that now posts of dating is to be allowed.

Naw. It was Nintendo that killed it. Instead of letting kids have fun on Miiverse by “playing boyfriend & girlfriend” or role playing or let the adults have discussions, they added stupid limits (30 posts AND comments a day) that horribly crippled the discussion aspect of Miiverse. Not to mention they are just way too strict on there. But that’s what happens when control freaks like Nintendo make something meant to be a social media site of sorts.

      1. I like to theorize that Nintendo added the post limit because they wanted to decrease server activity from the discussions. Why else would they try to label it as a good thing and disregard everyone that disagreed with the change? It’s honestly really infuriating because I’ve build up quite a few friendships on that site and had so much fun talking with them only for Nintendo to come and ruin it. Well at the very least I’ve never been banned from Miiverse.

Poor Miiverse. You were a great idea til Nintendo ruined you. It’s clear to me that Nintendo can’t handle a social media site, anyway. Way too strict & too controlling to have a social media site of their own. The fact they won’t let anyone tell the people they became friends with on Miiverse how to find them on another social media site is proof of that.

I’ll miss Miiverse but I won’t miss Nintendo’s control freak attitude on a social media site. Least I have this place where the admins aren’t gigantic, controlling assholes! Good fucking riddance!

October 11th was the end date for the “Thank You, Miiverse” community.
