Golf Story has taken the Nintendo Switch by storm and it’s great to see and hear about an indie title performing so well on Nintendo’s latest platform. Gaming website The Switch Effect recently had a chance to interview Douglas Bogart, who is one of the co-founders of Limited Run Games, to find out what their first physical release could be on the Switch.
My final question is if you could give us a hint as to what your first Nintendo Switch title will be in 2018?
I can’t really give any hints, but I can tell you we thought our first title would just be a pipe dream, but instead it’s a hole in one.

Limited run? Where is that mentioned in the article?
The title is a bit misleading. Limited Run Games is the company that releases digital games in a physical form for a limited run.

I didn’t know the name of the dev was “Limited Run”.
In the manufacturing business, a “limited run” is when a product’s availability is restricted to a set number of stock and is therefore only available for a limited time. Hence, I thought the title was suggesting that Golf Story would only be available for a limited time.
For instance, the NES Classic had a limited run when it released last year.

I still haven’t bought golf story but have an interest in it. If this is true though, I’ll wait until then
