Japan: Nintendo Announces 3DS Game Double Packs

Nintendo is planning to produce double packs of classic Nintendo 3DS titles in Japan. There are three Nintendo 3DS Double Packs coming Japan on January 1st priced at ¥5,000 per pack. Here’s the packs that will be available:

  • Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori amiibo+・Tomodachi Collection: New Life Double Pack
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D・Fire Emblem Awakening Double Pack
  • Luigi Mansion 2・Mario Tennis Open Double Pack

  1. This. I’ve said it for a long time. Just give New 3dS/2DS XL users, even them who is buying today, good deals and re-prints of the great library the console has. Stop making games for 3DS and solely focus on Switch. 3DS owners has plenty to choose from as long as Ninty re-prints deals like this.

      1. They’ve said they think there are a marked for a dedicated handheld along side the Switch, so it will probably come something. But my guess is a Switch Mini.

      1. Apparently it’s because they don’t make enough money off new games since most of the money goes to the companies with GameStop getting maybe 5-10 bucks from the sale. Hence why they have more than just video games in their stores these days. (I guess it’s possible.)

  2. The only thing I don’t like in this kind of deal is that they screw up in the game front cover, one of the reasons I buy a physical is to have a beautiful cover and to put it on my shelf, otherwise I will buy all digital..

    1. But a beautiful cover or digital icon on your menu isn’t important. Only game important. (Not my words as I also like a nice looking cover or digital icon.)

      1. I know. ^^’ but the only reason, for me, to buy a physical copy is because of the cover, the other games I will buy a digital copy, because it is much cheaper in Brazil to buy a digital one.

        1. Ah, Brazil. One of the worst places to live in if you’re a gamer. You, Cindyaa, & the rest got it bad. :/

          1. Haha yes. At least I can buy digital Nintendo games now from EUA eshop :) for the right and truly price without giving one cent to my corrupt government hehe.

  3. I don’t like how thick the border is. It’s taking up too much space. It was okay when the border was only 1-2 inches on the Nintendo Select rereleases. (I don’t really buy physical on 3DS much these days but still.)
