Popular toy manufacturer Jakks has extended its agreement with Nintendo to produce more Nintendo themed toys and gadgets. The company has full authorisation to produce toys based on a variety of Nintendo franchises including Mario and The Legend of Zelda. There’s a new bunch of World of Nintendo items coming this year which include Mario Kart motorcycle RC racer, a remote-controlled motorcycle; and Luigi Mario Kart mini RC racer. Here’s what the company had to say:
“We’re thrilled to extend our relationship with Nintendo as master toy licensee,” says Craig Drobis, senior vice president, marketing, Jakks Pacific. “Nintendo is an iconic and nostalgic brand that is beloved by multiple generations of fans. We are excited our authentic figures, plush and RC extends the gaming experience to play time.”
And now we must shudder at the thought of buying said toys from a place not Toys’r’Us :'(
