Japan: Nintendo Dream Asks Which Nintendo Character You Would Like To Go Camping With

Japanese Nintendo gaming publication Nintendo Dream has also asked its reader base which Nintendo character they would like to go camping with. It’s an interesting question and the characters they have chosen are a good choice. The winner was Link from the Legend of Zelda series who is the perfect person to explore the wilds, as we’ve seen from his exploits in the excellent The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

  • Link (The Legend of Zelda) – 93
  • Kirby (Kirby) – 59
  • Murabito (Animal Crossing) – 34
  • Mario (Mario) – 22
  • Captain Toad (Captain Toad) – 19
  • Chef Kawasaki (Kirby) – 11

      1. They can all talk. Nintendo just doesn’t let them. Therefore, they aren’t mute. Mutes can’t speak where as silent people are able to but don’t (for whatever reason.) Many confuse silent characters with mute characters.

  1. No Waluigi?
Thought everyone were nuts for that weirdo?
But yeah, definitely Samus. She should be pretty limber to fit in a small ball like that.
Unless it’s bigger on the inside? Like Tardis and pokeballs.

  2. Darn. Someone beat me to Tharja…

Ok, how about Tom Nook? Give us a few bottles of blueberry wine and I bet he’ll finally crack and open up about all his fears and insecurities around the campfire.

  3. Link is a good choice. BotW Zelda, Samus Aran, Tharja, and Lyndis would be great choices, too. Just gotta let them go into the tent first to get a good look at their nice, round… *loses train of thought* What was I talking about again..?
