Rumor: Some Nintendo Lawsuit Legal Documents Suggest That The Nintendo eShop Will Be Renamed The “Nintendo Switch Online Shop”

Nintendo is currently suing a man in Orange Country, California for selling NES Classic Editions and Nintendo Switch consoles that have been modified with pirated content. However, the legal documents contain something that hasn’t become widely known yet. In the documents, Nintendo says that the Nintendo eShop is the “Nintendo Switch Online shop (formerly Nintendo eShop)”. If this is true, then Nintendo may be planning to rename the eShop in the future. In the meantime, if you want to see what Nintendo said about the eShop in the documents,  a screenshot of it can be seen down below.

  2. It’s about time that Nintendo sues people who sell their systems filled with pirated games. But to be honest, Nintendo should go after the auction sites (eBay etc.) who make a ton of money off of it, not the casual people who make a few bucks. Even worse is that some auction sites don’t even ban the sellers if you report them, they just remove the listing (if at all) and the seller then just relists it.
