Other than a forecast of one million 3DS units to be sold this year, Nintendo really didn’t talk about the 3DS during its financial briefing last night. Well, Kotaku sent an email to Nintendo about the future of the 3DS, and received a response from a Nintendo spokesperson. All they said is that “we have nothing new to announce regarding first-party software for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. We can confirm that new software is coming from third-party publishers”.
Persona Q2 and what else?
Well, there’s Fire Em- oh wait, that’s only going to be on the Switch…
Um…oh yeah! It’ll have Poké- wait, that’s only going to be on the Switch too…
…I don’t know, I guess it’s dead after Persona Q2 releases. And if you’re not into JRPGs, then it’s dead right now.
3ds is in the endgame now
Dude, it was in the endgame in like 2017. I have no idea why Nintendo is still pretending to support it.
Still waiting for “Saiki Kusuo no Sainan Shijou Saidai no Saina” for the 3DS to get localized.
Toriko: Gourmet Monsters and Gourmet Battle would also be nice.

It’s like 7 years old, which is when the ds lite got an upgrade. With the switch now, they can focus on one console only, and like the rumors say there’s probably going to be a mini portable version, probably about the same size as the vita.
The last game I brought on my 3ds was ultra moon.
well, it is over 8 years old now so idk what anyone was expecting
I will legit shoot anyone down who is mad at this, especially considering the original DS sold over twice the amount of consoles and it was only out for 6 years before the 3DS hit
So first they reject 3rd party for Wii U. Now the only have 3rd Party for 3DS.
It’s about time. The 3DS is older than the Wii U. Put it to rest already.

Since the Switch came out, the 3DS has been dying a slow death. It’s amazing to see how much stock still sits in stores.
