Fire Emblem: Three Houses is introducing a vast array of new characters to the Fire Emblem universe, and Edelgard is among them. One of the main playable protagonists, Edelgard serves as the imperial princess, heir to the throne of the Adrestian Empire and house leader of the Black Eagles. She is described as having a dignified, high-minded, solemn air about her, and she coolly evaluates her surroundings and those around her before she acts. You’ll be able to play as Edelgard when Fire Emblem: Three Houses launches for Nintendo Switch on July 26.
I really hope we get to play as characters from the other houses too – Since I will stay loyal to the Golden Deers and such
I know claude hasnt been shown yet but i like how diverse nintendo has been. Twintelle, marina, urbosa, and claude in this game. I wanna see more of him. I will say i do like the artstyle in this game eldegard looks good too

I enjoy the detailed character art they provided for these characters. The in game character art is a bit generic, but these full body portraits are wonderful. I’ll probably join Edelgard on a first run through. (if that’s how the game works, that is)

I think I’ll nickname her E-dell, for short, when I play the game and there isn’t any voice overs.
