Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is still a little over a month away from launching on Nintendo Switch, but its free demo version is now available to download via the Nintendo eShop. The demo allows you to play several hours of the full game and transfer your save to the full version when it releases on September 27. If you’re planning to get the digital version of the game, the preload option is also live in the Switch eShop.

veer niiice. Still need that live play footage of Switch lite tho!
Come ON!
Well DUH!!!
Games have been doing that these days.
It’s barely a surprise anymore.
The demos I’ve played that let you play the opening parts of the game usually do let you transfer the data to the full game. The most recent demo I’ve played was that of Judgement earlier this month.
Great because I already clocked 10 hours lol
Can the demo progress transfer to a physical copy of the game or will it only transfer to the digital download full version ?
Yes, it’s the same (otherwise the middle finger would have been too big to sustain).
Cool game. Didn’t liked Dragon Quest VIII on PS2, but this time they made it more interesting. Eventually they will make a free roam game next time, with the same turn based gameplay.
