Level 5 has announced today on Twitter that the original Yo-Kai Watch, which is being ported to the Nintendo Switch system, will feature the ability for players to participate in online battles. This is a feature which has been added to the Nintendo Switch version as it wasn’t available in the Nintendo 3DS original. Yo-Kai Watch will be released in Japan on 10th October. A western release for Yo-Kai Watch hasn’t been announced as of yet.
