It’s hard to believe that the Wii is still getting new games, but if people are happy purchasing them then why stop? Ubisoft must have noticed diminishing sales as the company has said that the latest entry in the Just Dance series, Just Dance 2020 will be their final game on the legacy system. Just Dance 2020 is out now on Nintendo Switch, Wii, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
“We would like to clarify that Just Dance 2020 will be the last Ubisoft title to release on Wii. We can’t speak on behalf of other publishers or for Nintendo.”
That’s it boys, it’s finally over. What a long and strange journ….

A good move on their part, in my opinion. There’s really no point of releasing games on a system that’s almost a decade and a half old that barely anyone uses.
I still use mine when I want to play the best version of RE4. ( which is actually quite often)
You say that, but EA kept releasing FIFA games on the PS2 for years until the PS2 finally ended it’s cycle in 2013 when Sony stopped production of the systems.
Um, ok that’s great for them. But what does that have to do with me agreeing that they shouldn’t release Just Dance on the Wii anymore?

Sure it will. And when it makes bank from being sold to tons of hospitals’s children & elderly wings, retirement homes, & other places like them, we’ll get Just Dance 2021.
I hope if I ever end up in a retirement home they have the latest Nintendo console ( or nearly 15 yr old or whatever version).
I’ll be absolutely gutted though if I’m blind!
