Platinum Games will be delivering a major announcement in next week’s edition of Famitsu magazine. The issue is due out on Thursday, 27th February but there’s always a chance some subscribers could get the issue slightly earlier. Platinum Games has three games left to announce as they already announced that The Wonderful 101: Remastered is coming to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

    1. I agree. Since their deal with Tencent, it seems they’ve lost interest in anything console-exclusive. They seem hell-bent on owning their own IP and publishing on all platforms. Which is a win for them if the games are more successful. At the moment, I just want them to finish the game for the franchise that Nintendo resurrected – and then I’ll be all in on their other projects.

Seems like an awful lot of ports and Kickstarters and such when the franchise you’re best known for has a title in development with no real news for years.

      1. I agree whole heartedly, Nintendo in a way deserves to have the Bayonetta trilogy at least finished for now on their system.

I can see that Platinum no longer wants to be tied down on console exclusives.

I wonder if Bayonetta will continue on after 3 and see if other consoles will get the 4th and possibly the first one. But never the 2nd or 3rd since Nintendo has helped with that before.

    2. If this is one of their 4 big announcements, I rather it not be Bayonetta 3. We know it’s coming. Platinum has been late with titles before; like Bayo 2. I want them to announce something we don’t know about.

        1. @ladyrosalina and? Like I said I can wait. Theres be zero shortage of good games since bayo 3 was announced. I’m not so selfish and immature that I’d complain about dessert when I’m still at the buffet.
