Nintendo UK’s website for Animal Crossing: New Horizons contains an interesting tidbit that had not been included in today’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct. According to Nintendo, “this game does not currently support the ability to transfer your save file from one Nintendo Switch console to another. However, a function specific to Animal Crossing: New Horizons to move users and save data to another console is planned for later this year”.
Nintendo says that players will be able to move Animal Crossing: New Horizons users & save data to another Switch “later this year”

Why not just say this from the beginning? They keep saying something different. If they are still working on it all they should say is We are working on a new backup method.
Tisk tisk, Nintendo.
This is a lovely looking game all things considered and I’m certainly excited to dig into next month, but WOW! They really botched this save data ordeal did they.
I feel like Nintendo failed at the perfect opportunity to unveil more Animal Crossing amiibo in the Direct. Real amiibo, not cards. I’m still surprised there was never a female Villager amiibo.
Get ready cause I’m gonna give it to you, with a big crushendo
cool like aminal crossing straight from Nintendo, created by Katsuya Eguchi better watch out or I’ll go on a bug catching spree- with my man nook with a fish on the hook. My adnventures will rock and shock the nation
only on Nintendo no Xbox, PC or Playstation. Weak games approach with gameplay that’s dead you might as well run into the wall and bang your head I’m pushin’ force, my force your doubtin’ In the afternoon I’m watering flowers and later tonight I am meeting friends by the fountain. ~
My peoples are you with me, where you at? In the front, in the back animal crossing is back!

Not perfect, because after all I pay for cloud saves.
But better than nothing like Splatoon 2,
witch is pretty scary if I would lose 800 hours of gameplay/gear
Good weekend.
Bigger deal than Nintendo thinks. Smaller deal than gaming forum goers think.
