May 12th was supposed to be the day that Star Wars Episode I: Racer was intended to release on the Switch and Playstation 4. Unfortunately, the game, which originally released on the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color in 1999, has been delayed. It was announced on Twitter that “due to the ongoing work from home requirements across the industry, the game will be further delayed on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. We’ll be back with an update as soon as possible”. You can see the tweet down below.

As long as it’s quality, I’ll live. I really love Episode 1 Racer, though. Grew up with the N64 version, got the Dreamcast version (which is amazing) in a pickup – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXGGvlyDMls
I’ll definitely be triple dipping on this release.
Excited for this, too. I wonder what the multiplayer options are. I read this on the hypebeast; “the resolution has been bumped up, control feel has been updated, and trophies have been added to the mix.”
Control feel?
Also, cool YouTube video. I kinda want to rip off that idea and do it with used DVDs of action movies vs. a brand new blu ray.
