The Legend of Zelda’s big anniversary is taking place this year and we have no idea what Nintendo has planned to commemorate the prestigious event. However, what has been discovered is that the Kyoto-based company has registered a trademark for the classic Nintendo DS title, The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass. The trademark in Australia was filed late last year and accepted in November. It would be great to see the acclaimed Nintendo DS game arrive on the Nintendo Switch but we shall have to wait and see.
Would be cool to see a link’s awakening style remake for the ds collection of games. Definitely not full retail pricing for each though.
Link’s awakening was cool but definitely not worth full retail imo, bought it at $40 and I think that’s a decent price for these handheld zelda games.
God I hope so, that god awful Stylus control scheme made those two DS games completely unplayable for me.
Me too. I really wanted a true sequel to Wind Waker
This is the only Zelda game I didn’t finish. The backtracking was just…. ugh. I actually liked Spirit Tracks though.
I dunno that I would call PH a classic- don’t get me wrong, it was a great game, but it was very flawed. Doing the same sections of one dungeon over and over and over, the stylus controls…
Great bosses though, and I really liked Linebeck.
That stylus was annoying. I couldn’t finish the game. It was a shame too because Wind Waker was such a great ending to a sequel what happened afterwards
