Rumour: Remakes of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn could be coming to Switch

A Reddit member who previously leaked Fire Emblem: Three Houses for the Nintendo Switch system has hinted that the teams have been working on remakes of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn for the Switch. The leaker said that the remakes were planned for release in 2020, but were pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As always this is a rumour and Nintendo has not revealed what’s next for the long-running Fire Emblem franchise. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance launched on the Nintendo GameCube in 2005 and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn was released on the Wii in 2007.

  1. Nice. PoR was the best one. Maybe they could spice up the english dialogue a little bit without getting meme-y.

RD was kind of a mess though… I’d suggest they “fix” it wtih this rerelease but no idea how that’s possible. I guess it’ll just remain a disorienting campaign that jumped the shark.

  2. This really needs to happen since the only realistic way to play PoR is through piracy unless if you want to shell out $400. Makes me glad that I have my own copy.

  3. I’d buy them! I never played the originals so having them remade for a modern system would be awesome!

  4. This news post is posting something too hastily.
Supposedly, Nintendo Enthusiast, another News Site, contacted the leaker about this leak and he admitted that he doesn’t have any insider information regarding the Tellius games coming out in 2021, he just personally expects them next.
So, the leak has already been debunked.

You could argue this site has no proof they contacted this person, but it’s not like there’s much proof behind the initial rumor to begin with either. We shouln’t be spreading misinformation.
