UK charts: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is #1 once again

Physical games tracker GfK Entertainment has released the latest UK sales charts. This time, the GfK Top 10 is for the week ending June 19th, 2021. Nintendo, meanwhile, also has plenty to cheer about. Once again, around half of the charts were occupied by Nintendo Switch exclusive games. You could even give Nintendo credit for Minecraft Dungeons’ runner-up spot on the charts. The reason for this is because, although all versions of the game had a large increase in sales this week, a sale UK retailer Curry’s meant that the Switch version saw a dominant 758% increase in sales. 1. Not surprising, it’s the 1st true next gen only game and all it has to compete with is a budget title from Nintendo. It’ll be interesting to see if Mario Golf will be #1 when it comes out. It has the advantage that far more people have a Switch than a PS5.
