These usually happen to celebrate some first-party content that recently launched on the Nintendo Switch, usually a game, and the theme you can unlock during the event is usually based on what the first-party content is.
Well, Nintendo has announced Tetris 99‘s 23rd Maximus Cup. It will begin on August 6th. This time, the theme is based on The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. It has been less than a month since The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
