Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is releasing on multiple platforms, including the Switch, in 2022

Today is the very first day of Gamescom 2021, so Nintendo-related announcements from third parties are making some appearances. One of them involves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. A brand new trailer for the game had been released today, and it contained some new information.

April O’Neil has been confirmed to be a playable character, along with Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey. The game is coming to “PC, Nintendo Switch and consoles in 2022″. Dotemu did an official tweet that confirmed the news, which also includes the trailer, so we’ve included their tweet for you down below.

  1. Looks great! I loved the TMNT Arcade, SNES and Genesis games. The NES and GB games were really good too. It sucks that we have to wait until next year, but hopefully that means the end result will be more than worth the wait!

  2. I’m just SO glad that this is based on the original 80’s series that I loved/love so much. I’ve never liked any other iteration of the ninja turtles as much. Especially not the current one. Ugh!

  3. Developer Tribute Games are having some KONAMI vibes when it comes to the arcade style of TMNT. I’m definitely gonna buy Shredder’s Revenge first on Nintendo Switch… especially Channel 6 News Reporter April O’Neil as a playable character.
