Bayonetta 3 is releasing on the Nintendo Switch in 2022

Almost 4 years have passed since Bayonetta 3 was revealed at The Game Awards. And today, during a new Nintendo Direct, the company ended with a brand new trailer of the game. Gameplay was finally shown, and it was confirmed that Bayonetta 3 will be coming to the PC and Nintendo Switch in 2022. The official trailer is down below.

  1. Firstly, I’m so pleased it’s finally been revealed.
    But my god, graphically this is atrocious.
    The city, kaiju parts were extremely dated. How can something that’s been in development for 4 years look this bland.

It didn’t look bad to me, but it’s worth mentioning that on their blog they say they’re currently in the “final stretch.” That means bug testing and, typically in game development, polishing up the graphics. While I don’t think it’ll look massively different at launch, it’s safe to say some things may change. This could also be an isolated case, where other areas of the game look better. But of course one of the biggest things is that this is a Switch game. Only so much can be done.

  3. random guess that this game takes place in this universes version of the Rapture since normal people are now able to interact with whatever these things are (angels, demons, something else) and the discount-Dante at the end is this games version of Christ/the Anti-Christ.
