UK charts: Nintendo Switch Sports dethroned after three weeks at No.1

The latest boxed video game charts are now in for the United Kingdom for the week ending 21st May. Nintendo Switch Sports has spent three weeks at No.1, which is a great accomplishment for Nintendo UK, however this week’s charts see the energetic multiplayer game slip to No.2 as Horizon Forbidden West climbs to No.1 due to the arrival of new PlayStation 5 bundles. At No.3 is Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, No.4 is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and No.5 is Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Here’s the GfK UK Boxed Top Ten for the week ending 21st May:

  1. Horizon Forbidden West is a spectacular game, happy they updated it so now nothings missable. Originally Spector and Spector Prime machine scans was missable, now you automatically get both machine scans after the boss encounter. I honestly wish they’d remove the tutorials and combat arenas, both are insanely challenging and frustrating, I’ve completed every tutorial and it’s crazy how certain tutorials that required a specific combo are more challenging then certain parts of the campaign and required an extreme amount of skill, luck and patience.
    The tutorials and training tutorials took the fun out of Horizon Forbidden West, overall the games good but the tutorials doing combos and training tutorials killed the experience.
