Konami looking to bring classic Metal Gear games back to online stores

metal gear solid 3: Snake Eater

The acclaimed Metal Gear Solid series is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary and in a recent tweet publisher Konami has said it is looking to bring the classic Metal Gear Solid games back to the digital stores such as PlayStation Network, Microsoft Store and Nintendo eShop. The Metal Gear games were pulled from storefronts last year due to the fact that some of the real-life archive footage licences in-game had expired. Konami hasn’t said exactly when players should expect them to arrive back on digital storefronts.

  1. Snake Eater on Switch would make me ecstatic. My 3DS broke, so I haven’t played one of my favourite games in years.

  2. Where does it say anything about eShop. The linked tweet just says they’re relisting the games that were removed a couple months back
