It isn’t a rare thing anymore. What was once just a drip-feed of games added to Nintendo‘s Switch Online retro game libraries has now morphed into a weekly thing. It has been occurring for a good while now, and there have been no signs of it stopping anytime soon.
Tonight was another example of that. Nintendo has announced that the NES & SNES Switch Online collections have received a few more games. For the SNES library, Kirby’s Avalanche and Fighter’s History are now available. The NES library, meanwhile, received Daiva Story 6: Imperial of Nirsartia The announcement tweet is down below.
I could do without the continually expanding roster of SNES fighting games no one remembers, BUT Kirby’s Avalanche is pretty neat and hasn’t been rereleased in a long while, so overall I’m fairly satisfied with this update
Being dead honest I forgot about nes/snes games being apart of the service
I think NES should get Tetris!!!!
Pictionary plz nes
I can’t blame you since it’s terrible.
It honestly just feels like an after thought feels like it was way over hype when the switch was launching with the suppose online service coming later on, people were expecting the service to be good, I was hoping we get better add-ons after nes/snes but the fact that even if we do get more game systems emulators added to the switch it’ll be drip feed to the max.
Ok, we paid for Chrono CROSS, Can we PLEASE get Chrono TRIGGER on snes online
Oh wow kirby all stars was one I owned and one of the games my mom liked to play.
Avalanche*
Pictionary plz nes
Still no Mario rpg?
If you have a phone use the SNES emulator and download a rom library and you can download Super Mario RPG on your mobile phone. I have it on mine and I love it. Also if you wanna spend a couple more bucks get a controller for your phone to make gameplay better.
