Update: SEGA has confirmed the date during Gamecom Opening Night Live
A new commercial has aired for Sonic Frontiers in Japan and presumably it was shown a little earlier than expected as it has since been made private on YouTube. The reason it has been made private is due to the release date being shown at the end of the trailer marking Sonic Frontiers release date as 8th November, 2022. The game is expected to be shown during tonight’s Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation at 7pm UK time and it seems clear now that we can expect the new Sonic Frontiers trailer to include the 8th November release date at the end.

Possibly! Though I’m crossing my fingers that the actual game will be good. We deserve a good 3D platformer! I’ll be checking out the various reviews once they are available :D

sonic team has to earn everyone’s trust with this one, but they are so stubborn to listen and want to eat a piece of cake from the movies’ success while they can, that’s the reason they won’t delay the game.
