The time has finally come for Splatoon fans or new players to choose their team for the Splatfest World Premiere. The app has gone live this morning and you can chose team you wish to represent by selecting either Team Rock, Team Paper or Team Scissors. You can also explore Splatsville and have a wander around, though you can not purchase any gear or participate in training battles etc, so you probably won’t be playing it for long. However, you can choose yourself some cool headgear and the weapons that you want to use in the upcoming Splatfest World Premiere from your in-game inventory. The actual Splatfest, where the fun will happen, officially kicks off on Saturday! There’s also a Nintendo Treehouse presentation today which will look at Splatoon 3 and Square Enix’s upcoming Harvestella at 9:30am PT / 5.30pm UK time.

There’s a Splatfest stand/stall in Splatsville where you arrive. Go to it button press and choose your team.

I really hope they have lots of use for little buddy you can find sitting in random spots in the plaza and I know he’s already use in the story mode but I’m really hoping you can use him salmon run at some point.
