The latest video game charts for the month of August have come through and it was Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V which claimed the top spot. In actuality, it was a battle between the newly released Saint’s Row reboot and Rockstar’s classic open world crime game. August saw two Nintendo Switch games in the top ten best-sellers and those were Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Nintendo Switch Sports. It should be noted that Nintendo doesn’t provide eShop sales figures, so we are looking at just physical sales for Switch games. It should also be noted that the two major European markets, Germany and UK, are missing from this data.

Can’t wait until GTA 6 releases, don’t really care music for the online aspect. With money drops, modded accounts, lag switches, save wizards or whatever Internet warriors use nowadays. I just like the GTA campaign.
I seen that a third party hacked Rockstars systems and leaked confidential GTA 6 screen shots and whatnot online. But Rockstar has reassured fans that development will continue as normal. The screen shots and the whatnot that leaked online for GTA 6 is pre-alpha, not the final product.
