The latest Famitsu readers most wanted charts have come through from the land of the rising sun and there’s a brand new No.1 this week. The No.1 game is now Pokemon Scarlet & Violet with both Pokemon adventures securing enough votes to overthrow the long-awaited Final Fantasy XVI for the PlayStation 5 console. All the votes by Famitsu readers were cast between 8th September, 2022 and 14th September, 2022.

I hope this doesn’t disencourage other developers with their games to be delayed from making games immediately because of this chart. Having to wait over a decade for sequels is ridiculous. Because I hope Ubisoft has Mario-Rabbids 3 already starting the script and don’t wait like Miyomotyo like how long it took for Pikmin 4.
Had he started in Pikmin 4 immediately then we would had been playing Pikmin 5 by now waiting for Pikmin 6. And it isn’t because of hardware. Just count how many Mario and Zelda titles came out between Pikmin 3 and Pikmin 4. So the Switch could have received two Pikmin games since Zelda is evidence of its two games coming to the Switch.
Heck even Switch gotten 4 generations Pokémon within 6 years, Eevee/Pikachu, Sword/Shield Arceous and Scarlet/Violet.
So if they can do all this under 5 years and Breath of Wild and Tears of Kingdom.are also 6 years apart then what’s the excuse for Tropical Freeze amd the next DK sequel game and the gap in years between Pikmin 3 and Pikmin 4 and the gap between Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3?
So they can come up with two new Zelda games less than 7 years apart and 4 Pokemon games but I have to wait over 10 years from Pikmin 3 to Pikmin 4.
And how many years will the gap be between Pikmin 4 and Pikmin 5? 20 years? 25 years?
I’ve been anticipating the release of Valkyrie Elysium, already got it pre-loaded. From what I’ve seen the gameplay look’s amazing. Kinda wanted the Valkyrie Elysium avatar, not sure how you get it. I think you need a voucher code and it’s sent via email.
