The coronavirus pandemic has impacted just about everything in the video gaming industry. It had even impacted The Game Awards. Although the pandemic was never able to force The Game Awards to skip a year, it did manage to close off audience attendance for a few years.
Well, that is about to change. Geoff Keighley already confirmed that The Game Awards would be happening on December 8th, but he announced today that the public will be invited to the show for the first time in 3 years. In fact, tickets will go on sale on November 1st. His announcement tweet about the matter can be seen down below.

I don’t think most people even want to watch this trash online, let alone pay actual money to watch it in person lmao.
Don’t worry we won’t be attending the ad fest awards 😊.
Also hold up these things were exclusive thought they were like e3 but awful, they must not be making enough revenue to start inviting normal people to pay to see these events.
Well, I’m only watching the show for game announcements honestly. Not gonna lie, but The Game Awards basically took a huge heat for 3 years because of the outbreak that we all getting sick of tired of. So, do some people who can’t attend to the event still want to enjoy this in online?
