The Nintendo Switch has been receiving quite a few firmware updates this year, with the vast majority of them being rather small. In fact, additional features have been few and far between, despite there being so many updates that have been released.
For example, Nintendo has released a new firmware update tonight. Once you download the update, the console should be at version 15.0.0. However, despite the version number, the official patch notes don’t have much. You can see them down below.
- The location of the Bluetooth® Audio menu within System Settings has moved.
- Screenshots can be taken using the Capture Button while in the Nintendo Switch Online application found on the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu. Video capture is not supported.
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.

Interesting that you can take screenshots in the NSO app though i don’t know why anyone would unless they want to screenshot their saves for record keeping. As for moving the Bluetooth audio menu, don’t know where it’s moved cuz i haven’t updated mine since I’m in the middle of moving and have placed it back in its box.
Why would they officially name it 15.0.0 if there are no new features? Nintendo’s logic is beyond random…
Maybe we will see some secrets when data miners get ahold of it
Hopefully yes!
My Switch has become so stable I was able to open up a successful horse training business
Mountains have crumbled, empires have fallen. But the switch’s stability will outlive us all.
