Team NINJA president, Fumihiko Yasuda, has spoken at the G-STAR 2022 keynote in Busan, South Korea and informed attendees that they plan on rebooting the classic Ninja Gaiden franchise and the Dead or Alive series. The news was announced by Mr. Yasuda with a slide which read “Team NINJA’s Future – Reboot of Popular Series” and featured an image of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. The company is currently working on Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty for PlayStaton 5 and Xbox Series X|S and Rise of Ronin for PlayStation 5.
Man why can’t they reboot both dead and alive
because it would have to cater to the west, so either hijabs or more busted “realistic” faces/bodies

I’m not sure this would be a good thing or a bad thing; on the one hand it would potentially draw a new audiences, but on the other it could go horribly wrong if they try to “westernize” it (aka make it “progressive” or PC)
Which would be stupid since the franchise is diverse enough. Just add two trans characters (one transwoman and one transman) & call it a day.
