In a surprise move, Sidebar Games has officially launched Sports Story on the Nintendo Switch today. The game is a follow-up to the popular indie game Golf Story and is a welcome addition to the Switch library of games. The game is priced up on the eShop at $14.99 and the download weighs in at 799MB, so it’s a tiny download. You can check out the Sports Story launch trailer in the tweet down below.

Golf Story was fantastic and I’m sure this will be too.
But man… if I can just criticize one thing… they need to do a different title graphic than these. At a glance, I would think this is some sort of sports game shovelware.
If you’ve never heard of these games, Golf Story was kind of a like quirky golf RPG. It’s like if you took Mario Golf for the GBC and sprinkled it with some Earthbound flair.
Golf Story was absolutely superb! Bought this the instant it launched. Been waiting awhile for this
