Famitsu and Japanese game developers reveal Top 20 games of 2022

Popular Japanese gaming magazine and website Famitsu has gathered people from the video games industry, key celebrities and others, to form a judging panel to vote for their favourite video games of 2022. This is something the team at Famitsu does every year as a special Christmas feature and it is always worth glancing at the games which have been chosen by the panel. This year’s results sees FromSoftware’s open world adventure, Elden Ring, win the coveted Game of the Year 2022. There’s six Nintendo Switch games included in the top ten including Splatoon 3 and Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

The Top 20 games of 2022 according to Famitsu and their panel:

  1. So the ONLY games last year that were better than Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were Elden Ring, Splatoon 3, and God of War: Ragnarok.

    Makes sense.

    I hope this is the last time I have to make fun of the review ratings surrounding Pokemon SV. It’s getting tiring…
