Japan: Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes offline expansion launches May

Square Enix and B.B. Studio have announced the upcoming release of the Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline expansion, “The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally,” which is set to launch in Japan on May 26th for 4,400 yen. This expansion will take players on a new adventure in the vast land of Rendashia with new party member Anlucia.

The volume of the expansion is equal to that of the main game and will feature an original episode that was not depicted in Dragon Quest X Online, focusing on Anlucia, her older brother Toma, Luchenda, and Milt. Players will head to a new land on a luxury cruise ship and ride through the sky on a flying dragon. Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam in Japan. Check out the new trailer and screenshots for a sneak peek of what’s to come.

    1. I’d also like to See Switch releases of Dragon Quest IV, V and VI. A port of the DS versions of VII and VIII and a remake of IX.
