Unfortunately, avoiding any The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom spoilers has become a lot more difficult recently. The game has leaked more than a week before it was supposed to release on the Nintendo Switch, and there are lots of spoilers out there now. It hasn’t helped either that it has become possible to pirate the game before the game has been released.
Some people on Twitter have even been posting that they’ve pirated the game, including one particular user that tweeted out a picture of their Switch with the game ready to go. Their tweet resulted in a response from former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, where he quoted the movie Taken. The person Reggie responded to has since deleted their Twitter account, but Reggie just posted a screenshot of their tweet. You can see it down below.

Get ’em Reg!
I’m sure that hasbin Reggie likes to think that he’s still somewhat important, but he’s nothing more then a washed up old man these days
Bruh. Can we get a ratio going here?
I mean he’s kinda not wrong cause after he retired he tried pushing a lot of weird stuff like nfts and block chain gaming being the future of gaming overall, he’s kinda a bit of touch imo when it comes to gaming, and so many people use to be against him on this site when he gave the most stale/corporate response when future/upcoming games were being talk about, that being said I really don’t care that much about how Reggie is viewed he doesn’t work for Nintendo anymore and theirs literally no point argue for him or against him
I haven’t ever seen a truer comment. I mean someone working at Nintendo for about 15 years definitely wouldn’t have made friends or contacts that could actually do something to back up what he’s tweeted right? Come back and comment when you do even 5% of what he has accomplished in his lifetime.
Christ almighty you are the heavyweight champ of simps. He wont shag you
I think you might be projecting what you want. Shame on me for respecting the hard work someone did at Nintendo. I also must have missed where Reggie was a young woman that I am lusting after by just making one single comment.
Got one up on all of you: Could it be that even though he doesn’t “work” for the company, he has “stock” in the company. So, he can afford to speak whatever he likes. However, the person who leaked the info that was “stolen” may actually face some serious charges and issues from pirating. Never know…
How that ball juice taste?
Hold on I gotta ask your mum.
Regginator activated
“Hasta la vista, baby!”
Reggie got hired by the Pinkertons.
I still can’t believe WoC did something like that. Idk whether I should get Baldur’s Gate 3 or not now.
this would be a lot funnier if nintendo wasn’t known to literally send goons to people’s houses to physically intimidate them over shit like this.
He’s doing a better job than commander Quadraxis.
smh…
Quadraxis was just a man…actually a “man” if you know what i mean.
Are you telling me that Quadraxis is g4y?
||My secret…exposed!!!…||
This is why we all can’t have nice things. It seems like to me that they didn’t learn anything. Reggie is the big man for his career.
Kotaku has tried to push piracy of Nintendo ip for sometime. Think Metroid Dread. Kotaku = woke. I wouldnt doubt that other woke militants did this to harm Nintendo as they wont bow to their will. It wont work but they will try.
Lots of companies and persons would like to ruin Nintendo too. Think Mario movie and the critics. What did you see and observe. Did that make any sense to you? The woke want Nintendo to fail.
Welcome to the battlefield. If you let the woke win then you will enjoy garbage games for the rest of your lives.
Welcome to the war. We will win.
Bro, the right has been pirating games for leftist politics being put in games among other things. “Woke” is now a meaningless buzzword because of people like you who don’t know what it means.
The entire woke industry != what u said. Not the same. Bad apples not the same. Nice try play the game better.
The sleepers are awakening. Awake public = We will win.
Woke means people or corporations who are trying too hard to be progressive to the point where it’s disingenuous. Not “thing I don’t like” like a lot of people are using it for.
