Mortal Kombat 1 reboot coming to Nintendo Switch in September

The Mortal Kombat reboot is real as Warner Bros Games and developer Netherrealm Studios have unveiled the game this afternoon via a two minute CGI trailer. Mortal Kombat 1 will release on the Nintendo Switch and other platforms on Tuesday, 19th September. If you decide to pre-order the game then you will receive Shang Tsung as playable character. The Nintendo Switch Version of Mortal Kombat 1 is being developed by  Shiver Entertainment and Saber Interactive. Here’s some of the details from the official Mortal Kombat 1 website

    Except Shiver Entertainment and Saber Interactive are developing the inferior Nintendo Switch version of the game and are charging $70 for this. Disgraceful!

      1. Switch isn’t a next gen console. It’s not even as powerful as the previous generation consoles. The price increase to $70 was supposed to cover the extra development costs associated with more power. Charging $70 for the Switch version is taking the P1$$. If you look at other new games where a Switch port is available, they charge $60. While the next gen versions are $70. I hope the game flops on Switch now.

        1. Actually it will be the added cost for the larger sd card. So they will make the cost across the board like everyone else.

  2. A reborn Mortal Kombat?! Don’t make me laugh. The only thing new is the diversity nonsense since part 10. Dead on arrival.
