  1. Awwww fiddlesticks I just purchased them digitally. So I’ll just get the physical versions and not open them. That way 25 years from now they’ll probably be worth more than 50 bucks.

    1. We need to bring words like “fiddlesticks” ans “shucks” back, current expressive words have become boring and overused and aren’t funny anymore.

  2. I was hoping for this and I recently managed to pickup Pikmin 3 physically for dirt cheap brand new.
I don’t normally find these games interesting but lately I’ve been watching more gameplay and realized this game is good if you just want to play a laid back game.
I’ll pick up the fourth one later down the line and I’ll buy this physically, aftwards I’ll play all four games chronologically.
BTW I didn’t know Pikmin 4 was running on UE4.

  3. If this is €50 or €60, then it’s a rip-off. These are 2 Gamecube games that are both 2 decades old. There’s been no work done on them, they’re just uprezzed.

No work done on them? Did you miss the part where they said they’d been upscaled to HD?
I swear you people just type whatever nonsense you think of without doing a lick of research.

      1. It’s US $50 here. Way I see it, 20 bucks for each game & 5 bucks for each getting an HD upscale. 20+20+5+5=50 so totally worth the price to me.

If people think Ninty’s gonna sell two of their games (games that are almost always of high quality) together for 20 or 30 bucks, they clearly don’t know Nintendo. There is good news, however. (Least for people that don’t mind buying digital.) Just buy the Nintendo Switch game vouchers, use one on Pikmin 4, a US $60 game with one, and the other on Pikmin 1+2. That way, you get one for full price & one with 20 bucks off.

    2. I can understand why you feel that way, as far as all the recent announcements
go I’d take this over that trash physical release of Metal Gear collection, that release will only have 2gigs of data on the physical and requires one of the largest downloads ever on Switch.
What was the point of even planning a physical release if a download is still required, I swear these developers and publishers don’t care at all about the quality they release their games in.

  4. Very happy to see Pikmin 1&2 finally getting a Switch release. It’s no surprise to me that its one of the least known/played Nintendo properties given its erratic release schedule over the years.

Hopefully people will give the series a shot, the Pikmin games were some of my favourite games on GC & Wii. Also good that all the mainline titles will be available on Switch, with only the 3DS title ‘Hey Pikmin’ not available. Maybe it will appear via the online service at some point.

I’ll definitely be waiting for the physical release, nice that it bundles the games together. People may baulk at paying full price for “2 old games”, but I’d advise them to check the used market of the Gamecube versions and the Wii ports (especially the sequel). It’s not exactly cheap to get them legitimately. So it’s nice that they will be available new again on the current Nintendo platform. You’ll able to get a lot of hours out of the 1&2 bundle, especially the 2nd game.

      1. Not saying that’s the only ones that would curse this re-release, though.

(Never finished my comment as I hit the post button by accident. Forgot what else I was gonna add. 😫)

  5. I definitely had thoughts about the Pikmin Series Bundle since before Pikmin 3 Deluxe came out. I know at some point that the Pikmin series was gonna come on the switch,it was only when. My thoughts of how Nintendo was going to do it was as a Trilogy bundle for $60. Just have all 3 on one card with the option of Motion controls and of course DLC included from Pikmin 3.When Pikmin 3 DX was announced, that idea I had just went out the window. Then the direct happened and we get the 1+2 bundle. I’m happy something like this came out and currently playing through them again. And already I’m happy with the fixes for Pikmin 1. They removed the crush glitch. To me : 100% worth going back through again.
