Video: Pikmin 4 overview trailer (demo available now)

Last week’s Nintendo Direct was a good one for Pikmin fans. Nintendo decided to show off a lot of gameplay of Pikmin 4, and new information about the game was discussed. They also announced enhanced ports of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 that were digitally released the same day as the Nintendo Direct. However, their final Pikmin-related announcement of the Direct was the news of a Pikmin 4 demo coming on June 28th.

Obviously, that day has now today so, as Nintendo promised, it has arrived. A free demo of Pikmin 4 can now be downloaded from the Nintendo Switch eShop. Pikmin 4 will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on July 21st. An overview trailer was released by Nintendo to celebrate the demo’s release, so you can see it down below.

  1. I usually don’t care much for demos unless the save data can be imported into the base game like the Disgaea and FFXVI demos, this will be my 1st time playing Pikmin so im tempted to try the demo.

  2. I hope they didn’t make this easy for casual gamers. I hope it is as challenging as Pikmin 1 and 2 were. I also hope it is long.

  3. Going to avoid playing the demo so I can go in fresh, but I hope lots of people try it and Pikmin finally gets the fanbase it deserves. It’s been great to see so many people trying the Pikmin 1 & 2 rereleases, and the QoL improvements (like practice mode) seem like good additions. Hopefully the rewind feature doesn’t make things too forgiving
