3 NES games added to Switch Online

Nintendo has added three more NES games to the ever expanding Nintendo Switch Online service library. The following games are included in the update: The Tower of Druaga (1985), PAC-MAN (1988), and Mendel Palace (1989). Two of the three games were developed by Namco, and Mendel Palace, although developed by Game Freak, was originally published by Namco in Japan. As always, these classic titles can be accessed from the “Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Classics” app that can be downloaded via the Nintendo eShop for anyone with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

  1. I could swear PAC-MAN was already on NSO NES. Or maybe I’m thinking of the NES Classic.

Either way, I don’t think a lot of people were waiting for these with bated breath. Nintendo has proven that just because a game has a Switch remake doesn’t mean the original won’t- or can’t- come to NSO by adding GBA Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, so I’m still awaiting the SNES version of Super Mario RPG.

  2. I enjoy playing classic console games. Modern platforms like https://slotlair-uk1.com/ are designed with users’ needs in mind. A clear section structure and quick search feature make it easy to navigate the game catalog. Users can manage their account balance and participate in promotions through their personal account.

  3. Adding old NES games is cool for nostalgia, but let’s be real, how long are people actually playing them? A couple of hours and then it’s back to modern stuff. Nintendo knows exactly how to milk that retro feeling. It’s like how platforms such as https://basswinz.co.uk/ keep players hooked with variety, loads of slots, table games, and sports betting options for UK users. You’ve always got something new to try, not just replaying the same thing over and over. Nostalgia’s fine, but you need fresh content to keep people genuinely engaged long term.

  4. Great to see classic NES titles continuing to reach new players through Switch Online. Retro gaming has a timeless appeal, and it’s interesting how gaming communities keep discovering both old and new experiences. As someone who follows game trends and platforms like 3 Patti Best, I enjoy seeing how different genres continue to engage players over time.
