3 NES games added to Switch Online

Nintendo has added three more NES games to the ever expanding Nintendo Switch Online service library. The following games are included in the update: The Tower of Druaga (1985), PAC-MAN (1988), and Mendel Palace (1989). Two of the three games were developed by Namco, and Mendel Palace, although developed by Game Freak, was originally published by Namco in Japan. As always, these classic titles can be accessed from the “Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Classics” app that can be downloaded via the Nintendo eShop for anyone with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

  1. I could swear PAC-MAN was already on NSO NES. Or maybe I’m thinking of the NES Classic.

Either way, I don’t think a lot of people were waiting for these with bated breath. Nintendo has proven that just because a game has a Switch remake doesn’t mean the original won’t- or can’t- come to NSO by adding GBA Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, so I’m still awaiting the SNES version of Super Mario RPG.
