Dataminer discovers Spiny was apparently meant to be playable in Mario Kart World

An investigative data miner has discovered that spiky Spiny was once meant to be playable in the Nintendo Switch 2 title Mario Kart World. Spiny’s internal name is listed as a driver in the popular kart racer in several in-game files. It is not clear why Nintendo decided to take away Spiny’s license in Mario Kart World, but perhaps he could be added into the game at a later date.

  1. 2. He will be released in the new DLC with 80 maps based on Spiny. DLC price: 80 cents per map. Spiny will be $79,99. In the same month McDonald’s will launch a special Happy Meal also with 80 Spiny toys, if you collect them all, the DLC will be free. Looking forward.
