Rumour: Nintendo Switch 2 Lite could feature Samsung’s new 8LPU+ process

Samsung is always working on ways to make its computer chips more efficient and it seems likely that the long-speculated Nintendo Switch 2 Lite could use the company’s new 8LPU+ process. This would mean that the yet-to-be-announced Nintendo Switch 2 Lite would have a 15% lower power consumption with higher performance. Samsung will present its 8LPU+ process to the world at the IEEE IEDM event on 14th December.

  1. Switch 2 lite to play my switch 1 games handheld but at docked output, and then a regular switch 2 to play switch 2 games docked as a home console 🧠

Well they also make Phones, Air Cons, Disinfecting Devices…. Tanks for the Military and so on, so them making hardware for the Switch 2 Lite is a no brainer for them

  2. “the long-speculated Nintendo Switch 2 Lite”

When was this a speculation cuz I don’t remember hearing anything about it, better yet, sounds like someone just pulled that out of their black hole behind and claiming it’s been a rumor since before the Switch 2 was even a thought.

  3. If it’s anything like the first lite, all the performance improvements are going straight to the battery instead, which is crucial for a lite

  4. I bet you one of the trade-offs is that it will be not backwards compatible with Switch 1 which will not only save cost but will prevent all the current hacking stuff in the future.

  5. Rumored Nintendo switch 2 pro specs.

    1. Where are you even getting this info from lol. The Switch 2 has like 12GB of RAM if they put 24 gigs in it it’d cost like $750 for the whole thing. And hall effect joysticks? Nintendo would never do that, it’s a known tactic to not put the best joysticks in a controller so you have to buy replacements

Yeah, those were obvious red flags, I think this is what they wish would be in the Proposed “Switch 2 Pro”, which honestly I don’t see why we need a Switch 2 Pro when Nintendo could just as easily make a Dock with extra hardware that boosts performance and call that the “Switch 2 Pro Dock”

  6. Waiting for a revision before get the switch 2. Don’t care how many years I wait but I don’t want their first edition
