The latest Japanese boxed-video software and hardware charts have come through for the week of 26th June, 2023 to 2nd July, 2023. There is a brand new No.1 this week in the form of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE (you can read our recent review here). Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE has knocked PlayStation 5 exclusive Final Fantasy XVI down to No.2, which will come as a disappointment for Square Enix. The No.1 video game hardware was once again the Nintendo Switch family of systems, shifting an additional 106,214 units this week. Here’s the best-selling hardware and software in the land of the rising sun.

I think I read somewhere that last June was one of Japan/Switches biggest sales month ever. There is no way we are getting a Sw2 reveal anytime soon.
I’d love to see it beat PS2
