Pyoro, who is generally right on the mark when it comes to video gaming leaks, has published an image of one of the original designs for the beloved Sonic the Hedgehog. The tease is presumably related to Sonic Superstars with a new trailer coming tomorrow evening at Gamescom Opening Night Live according to the show’s organiser, Geoff Keighley. Whether it is a skin for Sonic the Hedgehog remains to be seen. Gamescom Opening Night Live kicks off tomorrow at 11am PT / 7pm UK time.

The way I see it, it is either going to be a new character or a new unlockable skin: either way, we’re finding out tomorrow 😎
Obviously thats the original sonic design that became Ristar and that new villain is going to be this when they remove their helmet
