Nintendo has been very active with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack retro libraries lately. Although it varies which retro library gets updated, Nintendo’s schedule with new additions has reached a point where it is guaranteed to see at least one retro game added a month.
Well, tonight is no exception, though this one is a little more interesting due to the fact that there were rumors of an Nintendo 64 Switch Online announcement earlier today. Nintendo has announced that Excitebike 64 will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack’s Nintendo 64 library on August 30th. The announcement tweet is down below.

So it was just an ordinary drop…. what a useless “leak”
Slow news day
Mario party 3 looks so different here
All 4 people who care about Excitebike 64 are losing it right now…
I would be surprised if there were 4 people!
Awesome game! Shouldn’t be over-looked.
Im losing it right now, i guess im one of the 4 who care about Excitebike 64.
Excitebike 64 becomes much better when you use the more zoomed out camera view and can actually see while turning. Took me too long to realize this. Great game now.
Excite bike NES is much more fun than N64.
I didn’t expect them to wait a full year to just add Mario Party 3 but here we are I guess. Who at Nintendo still thinks dripfeeding like this is actually good? I think they need a serious talking-to.
I think they have a skeleton crew working on this stuff after what happened with the Wii U.
