5 years ago, Toys For Bob and Activision released a remaster of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. They were released in a single collection that is called Spyro Reignited Trilogy. A year later, it was ported to the Nintendo Switch.
What may surprise you is that there hasn’t been a lot of information on how well the remastered trilogy has sold. However, that has changes earlier today. The official Spyro Twitter/X account has kicked off a month of festivities celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary with the news that Spyro Reignited Trilogy has sold through 10,000,000 units worldwide.
