More details on Sonic Superstars Battle Mode shared

It is now less than a month before Sonic Superstars releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. News on the game is not as frequent as it was in June, when the game was revealed, but that doesn’t mean that SEGA doesn’t have anything else to share about the game.

Earlier today, SEGA shared some more details on the game’s Battle Mode. According to SEGA, “players will take control of a Metal Fighter, customize it to their liking, and compete to win in three rounds of randomly selected battle stages”. There Race, Zap Scrap, Star Snatcher and Survival.

SEGA says that “points are earned according to the battle ranking for each round and the player with the most aggregate points wins”. As for rewards, they are only for online players. You’ll be able to get ranks and medals for online play, the latter of which you can spend in an in-game shop to purchase “custom parts for your Metal Fighter”.
