Sonic Superstars is less than a month away from officially releasing on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. That said, there isn’t much left for SEGA and Sonic Team to share about the game. Nevertheless, one small detail about the game was shared recently that may interest you.
Sonic Superstars development producer and character designer Naoto Oshima was recently interviewed by Japanese outlet Denfaminicogamer, and the interview was translated to English by Noisy Pixel. In it, Oshima obviously talked about the game. At one point, he reveals that “you will be able to play at a smooth 60 FPS, even on Nintendo Switch”.

It’s not that graphically demanding so I can see that.
I am happy to hear that, but I’ve never been bothered by things like frame rate
We can see from trailers that the Switch version is massively graphically inferior. That’s probably how it runs at 60FPS on Switch. Let’s see if it’s steady first.
Sonic sells bette on Nintendo platforms.
At least its really nice to see the framerate become more common in this game instead of suffering some issues with the framerate unlike other games like Fortnite.
